01 - Problem

A single residential project needed an immersive showcase that could go live quickly, work on a VR headset, and not carry the cost or maintenance burden of a server.

02 - Solution

I built a WebXR showcase around 360° spherical photography with complete VR headset responsiveness and head-movement tracking, verified on the Meta Quest 3. Everything renders client-side, so there is no API layer and no database in the path.

03 - Result

A high-performance immersive showcase with zero backend infrastructure to run or pay for - it either serves from the CDN or it doesn't, and there is nothing in between to break.

Deployment & infrastructure

Hosted on Static hosting

Deployed as a static bundle on a custom subdomain with SSL. No backend infrastructure means no server maintenance, no process manager and no downtime from an API failing.

Services & configuration

  • Static build
  • CDN
  • Custom subdomain
  • SSL
